Our founder was born and raised in New York City, by a chef father and a food-loving mother. Our events are guided by a deep love of and interest in food. The menu helps tell the story of a party, and we strive to delight our guests through exciting and delicious food.

Mortar + Pestle was founded out of a love for the hospitality industry and serving guests, but built on a solid business foundation. We enjoy the numbers as much as the canapes. We help our clients manage their budget and vendors to get the most optimal outcome at any budget level.
